The Last Week
with IQuest coming to a close its good to look back on what I accomplished this year. I have a patent, a college, a job, and a bright future. I feel that IQuest is a wonderful program that allowed me to go as far with engineering as I did. I've enjoyed every moment of IQUest this year and look forward to updating my blog as the year goes by.

JA Meeting
Every Community has it's own problems. And every community has the tools to fix that problem, but the question is how? That's what Junior Achievement is designed to solve. The program looks to encourage the future of the community to fix its biggest social issues. I was invited to attend the all-day seminar on social innovations. It was a fun, interactive, and challenging day that was well worth it.

First Semester Review
iQuest has been an extraordinary chance for myself to follow my passion. Without it I would not be able to balance my life between interning, school, and Rugby. Organization and time management have always been my largest flaws. This class taught me to better organize my time so that I can be more successful. Working at Danville Auto and Hardware has been a great experience. The people I've met, the things I've learned, I will keep with me for the rest of my life. I've learned carpentry, plumbing, welding, and machining. I can proudly tell myself that I have skill that I can use in the future. But most of all, These are skill I can use to further my greatest passion; building things. My mentor Bear is a great teacher. He has taught me so much more than rudimentary skills, he taught me how to be generous. I love iQuest, I love being able to say I have a mentor, I love knowing what I wake up for. iQuest helped me make a goal, and Bear is helping me realize it.
Second Semester
Entering the Second semester of iQuest I'm very excited to continue working on various projects at Danville Auto. I got to paint a golf cart and I learned how to weld. Pictures to come!

Drive
So this past week I created a bright yellow golf cart fo a customer, Unfortunately I lost my phone so no photos. I spent about four hours removing the entire body, replacing the new body, and rewiring the golf cart. I'm learning how to efficiently dismantle and reconstruct custom golf carts and I'm having lots of fun. Also my book is an exciting read that is focusing on how the American ideals shaped our engineering minds.

America by Design
America by Design, by Spiro Kostof. This book dissects and analyses how America works through its infrastructure. It's and interesting concept, everything we do is based on the buildings we live in.
